In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Join Balance Sheet Analysis, a highly skilled team within Group Risk responsible for analysing risks to Swedbank's balance sheet.

• Become a member of a team with a genuine interest in how a bank's balance sheet is affected by strategic decisions and its surroundings.

• Play a key role in ensuring that the bank's capital and liquidity situation is optimised to support our strategic decisions and growth.

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk analysis to identify, quantify, analyse, monitor, and report on financial risks such as liquidity risk and capital planning.

• Work with capital and liquidity stress testing, such as ICAAP and ILAAP.

• Work with cutting-edge tools and technologies, such as SQL and SAS, and gain experience in stress testing and regulatory compliance.

• Lead projects and collaborate with other departments, strengthening your network and expanding your knowledge of the banking industry.

• Work closely with Group Treasury to understand, analyse, assess, and monitor Swedbank's capital situation as well as liquidity and funding risks.

• Conduct analyses on both a high-level as well as deep into details.

• Prepare analyses and material for Group Risk Management and the Bank's Board of Directors, supporting decision making and strategy discussions.

• Collaborate with other departments in the bank to strengthen our understanding of how Swedbank's balance sheet is affected by macroeconomic developments.

• Build a network within the organisation to improve the understanding of risks and strengthen collaboration across teams.

What is needed in this role:

• An analytical and open mindset, with a genuine interest in banking, finance, and risk analysis.

• A great interest in macroeconomic developments and how these developments affect a bank.

• Curiosity and a willingness to take on whatever task and project that comes your way.

• Ability to take ownership of your assignments and present complex ideas and facts concisely.

• A desire to learn and continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

• Ability to take the broader perspective and involve different parts of the organisation to improve the understanding of risks.

• Academic degree in finance, engineering, mathematics, economics, or relevant field.

• Minimum 5 years experience from banking, finance and/or financial authorities.

• Experience from working with either liquidity risk or capital is highly meriting.

• Experience from statistical tools such as SQL and SAS are meriting.

• Strong presentation and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both in written and spoken form.
