What's in it for you?
The group Chassie Dyno Lab performs tests in complete vehicle, and Brake Dyno Lab is a part of the Chassie Dyno Lab specialized in testing brake systems. The group consist of a small group of enthusiastic employees, and we are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable Senior Rig Engineer to join our curious and ambitious team.

What you'll do
As Senior Rig Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical evaluation and the technical delivery in accordance with the identified needs and decided strategies of the development. You will ensure that equipment is handled and used in a correct way, by creating instructions and educations for operators and customers. This is to ensure the quality of the delivery from the department. You will also coordinate pre studies for development of assessment needed for decision of budget investigation, and work with verification testing according to test methods, requirements, and measurement.

Main responsibilities:
* Act as technical support for investment coordinators within brake lab regarding development of LRP documentation, budget and purchase investigations.
* Represent the rig owner in realization projects of new test equipment and rigs within Brake Lab.
* Be responsible for correct usage of the brake dynos with external equipment.
* Participate in technical development of test equipment and test methods.
* On own initiative perform technical development of test equipment and test methods within Brake Lab.
* Participate in strategy groups regarding the product and test equipment.
* Ensure that you as rig owner is continually updated regarding test equipment and test methods.
* Follow and inform about trends regarding vehicle development, legal requirements, and test equipment.

You and your skills
We see that you have a B.Sc. degree or more within a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience. You have extensive experience from testing facilities, dyno testing and test equipment and a proven capability to efficiently develop a framing of questions and lead investigations or projects. You can also independently analyze measuring data in general tools, e.g., Pro Link, Matlab, MS excel and present these in a report. You also need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Previous experience from working with brakes, dyno lab, testing analysis, as well as knowledge in basic programming, and the agile way of working. A driver's license (B) is meritorious.

On a personal level, you are a communicative person with good ability to work in teams as well as individually. You have pedagogically skills and a strong motivation and initiative. Finally, you share our enthusiasm for cars.
