Choice Hotels is currently seeking new employees with energy, guts and enthusiasm.
Main Function:
Maximize the overall net revenues for the (responsible area/cluster) within Choice Hotels Scandinavia. Main focus will to optimize revenue, both transient and group, through strategic planning, pricing and overall commercial awareness.
Make sure all of our hotels/brands within the cluster are in line with both branding and destination/area/cluster pricing strategy.  Will work closely with Sales and Marketing to make sure this pricing strategy is reflected in contracts/agreements/campaigns for all segments.
Monitor the market and the performance of our hotels within the area/cluster through STR Global and provide regular analysis on both performance, but also on areas of improvement to make sure we continue to improve our RGI.
Make sure our forecasts in optimization are validated. Optimization systems will be installed in 2010. As there are a wide range of different hotels within the area, the main focus of Cluster/City RM should be 3-24 months out, whereas other members of your team focus on the day to day changes for the next three months.
Work and make sure that local/cluster goals and strategies are in line with the overall strategy and goals as the Revenue & Distribution department.
Senior RM will also be the main point of contact for Brand VPs, General Managers in the area/cluster as well as the Customer Interaction Center.
Supervise and coach the Revenue Managers and make sure the team continues to develop and performs to the best of their ability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree.  Relevant experience can compensate.
• Leadership experience.
• A good communicator (both oral & in writing)  and team builder.
• Analytical, structured and result oriented.
• Experienced within Revenue Management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
