hela Sverige Applications are invited for a Senior Researcher position within the unit of commissioned services at TATAA Biocenter. The applicant shall support sales people and clients in the planning of projects, execute them and provide report. He/she shall have extensive experience of and large interest in molecular techniques such as real-time PCR, digital PCR, microarrays and/or Next Generation Sequencing including experimental design, sample preparation, quality control and analysis of data. The applicant shall be service minded, independent, and goal oriented. He/she should be ambitious and is expected to advance to group leader within a few yers. As group leader the applicant will be even more involved in the planning and selling of projects, preparing of new service offerings including new technologies and platforms, and he/she will also lead younger researchers and technicians who perform most of the experimental work. The applicant is likely to have a PhD or MD, but it is not required. Experience from service work, preferably in a quality controlled setting, either within industry, government laboratory or at core facility is an advantage.
