About us
The Intelligent Systems unit at RISE pursues NLP research in the context of the RISE Centre for Applied AI. Our research currently focuses on building language models for Swedish and other Scandinavian languages, on resource-efficient methods for NLP and AI in general, and on multilingual models and applications.
About the job
As senior researcher, your role will be to carry out research in collaboration with other researchers in the unit, to help secure research funding (both internal and external), and to be a mentor for junior researchers in the unit. Your most important tasks will be:
- Carry out research and report results in scientific publications
- Lead and coordinate research projects in the unit.
- Apply for research grants (in open calls and in direct assignments from industry)
- Mentor junior researchers. Engage in internal and external networks
Who are you?
As senior researcher in natural language processing, you have a PhD in a relevant field and a few years of experience from post-doctoral research. You are passionate about research and have high intellectual and technical standards and enjoy collaborating with other researchers to break new ground and solve problems. You are open to new challenges and happy to be part of a hybrid research organization connecting academia and industry. You have an established network in academia or industry.
