In vitro and in vivo scientists for future assignments
For future assignments within the pharmaceutical industry we are now looking for in vivo and in vitro scientists. We are looking for candidates that are newly graduated as well as experienced scientists. You should have a strong interest in laboratory work and a life science degree at University level.
Qualifications
Successful candidates are able to independently design and conduct experiments and analyze & evaluate data. In addition you are be able to present data at team and project team meetings. Assignments may vary in length with a focus in different disease areas.
In vivo candidates should have laboratory animal education and experience in techniques such as:
• Excellent experimental skills in the use of animal models and in vivo techniques in rat and mouse.
• Administration (i.p., i.v., s.c.) and taking blood samples
• Performing surgery, dissection and tissue sample collection
• Analyzing endpoints and/or biomarkers in urine and blood samples using e.g. ELISA or clinical blood analyzer
• Molecular biology techniques such as nucleic acid extraction and detection, PCR, qPCR
Successful in vitro scientists have a broad expertise in cell biology & biochemistry with experience in several of the following techniques:
• General knowledge in developing, validating and executing in vitro assays
• Experience of cell culture: Cell lines, primary cells, stem cells
• Molecular biology: Nucleic acid extraction and detection, PCR, qPCR
• In vitro techniques such as ELISA, Western blot, flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry
• Transient and stable transfection utilising different technologies such as electroporation, virus, lipid and PEI
• Development of stable cell lines utilising traditional, viral and Precise Genome Editing (CRISPR) techniques
• Experience of imaging techniques and automated equipment
• Genetic (ddPCR, NGS, AmpliconSeq) characterization of engineered cell lines
Please, clearly specify in your CV which methods you have experience from and your level of experience as well as possible disease area knowledge.
Minimum Requirements
• Scientific degree e.g. Engineering, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceut
• Basic statistical analysis of data
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Good communication skills coupled with the ability to work to tight timelines
• Ability to demonstrate drive and energy to deliver results and projects
Preferred experience/requirements
• Experience from a pharmaceutical development organization
