hela Sverige We have an immediate opening for a permanent position as Senior Researcher in the R&D, Product development team within Paints and Coatings in Stenungsund.
The Paints and Coatings R&D team in Stenungsund is responsible for the product development work for polymers and surfactants in the Paints and Coatings application area. Our portfolio includes cellulose ethers, synthetic polymers, surfactants, and also silicates and thermoplastic microspheres.
In your future role as Senior Researcher you will
Lead and/or participates as technical support in product development projects with a strong focus on paint applications.
Setup, plan and execute experimental work, collect, and analyse data, document results, and to share with colleagues.
Develop the portfolio of cellulosic ethers, surfactants, and synthetic polymers for the Paint & Coatings applications
Build know-how of our products in relation to paint and coatings properties
Hold technical trainings of sales persons and distributors
Actively participate in technical support to our customers
Keep up with relevant developments in area of expertise
Actively contribute to the safety and order of the lab, and have a strong focus on the Health, Safety and Environment questions
We believe you bring
University degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent with previous working experience of paints and coatings
Experience from project management
Good sense for strategic and commercial business aspects
Strong customer focus
Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Great if you have
Previous experience from the paints and coatings industry is beneficial
Knowledge about surfactants and polymers is highly valued
