We are currently looking for innovative and highly motivated scientists to join the Bioscience department within the Respiratory, Inflammation and Autoimmunity Innovative Medicine Unit in Mölndal, Sweden. There you would be part of a newly formed, creative and flexible team that investigates novel immunomodulatory therapies for respiratory and autoimmune and diseases.
The role
We are interested in scientists with a strong background in immunology and with a proven track record of research in academia or industry. In the role you will combine hands-on scientific input into our research activities with scientific leadership from the lab. In this way you will help build one of the most innovative and exciting Respiratory, Inflammation and Autoimmunity portfolios.
Minimum experience
Suitable candidates should have a Ph.D in immunology or related scientific discipline or a BSc/MSc. degree with additional immunological research experience
Preferred experience/requirements.
A proven track record in research in innate or adaptive immunology as shown by publications in high quality journals
Prior experience in the identification of innate immune drivers of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
Strong practical expertise in a range of immunological, molecular and cell biology techniques such as immune cell culture, characterization by flow cytometry, analysis by biochemical genomic or epigenomic methods.
Experience in the application of these methods to respiratory and/or inflammatory diseases is desirable.
You will have excellent team playing and communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a multidisciplinary research environment, providing leadership and insight in the discipline.
