Role Summary/Purpose:

The position is a Senior Research Engineer or Scientist position in the Bioprocess applications section within the Bioprocess media department in RnD. The section is working with downstream processing and process economy calculations with specific focus on vaccines, recombinant proteins, plasma and food applications. There is also a responsibility regarding continuous processes and corresponding applications.

Essential Responsibilities:

The role is to strengthen the team with competence around the sections different application areas as well as adjacent areas. The position would support product development and market support activities initially with a focus on continuous processing.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Formal requirements are:

Bachelors degree in biochemical engineering, biochemistry or related field with relevant experience (or a PhD)
Strong skills in protein purification
Good understanding of bioprocess applications
Experience in biological assay for analysis
Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
