Job Overview: The Senior Regulatory Manager will be responsible for keeping up-to-date with chemical regulatory intelligence across the globe, organizing sensitization workshops for clients on new developments, compliance obligations, and deadlines, and serving as the primary contact point for external conference organizers to delegate GPC speakers on various thematic and regional areas. Additionally, the Senior Regulatory Manager will develop various regulatory update reports on regions, countries, or groups of countries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Keep up-to-date with chemical regulatory intelligence across the globe and communicate the relevant information to the organization's teams and clients.
2. Organize sensitization workshops for clients on new developments, compliance obligations, and deadlines.
3. Serve as the primary contact point for external conference organizers to delegate GPC speakers on various thematic and regional areas.
4. Develop various regulatory update reports on regions, countries, or groups of countries.
5. Collaborate with the CCO and other key stakeholders to develop and implement regulatory strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
6. Provide technical support to clients on various regulatory issues and requirements, including REACH, GHS, and other relevant regulations.
7. Maintain the Regulatory Intelligence webpage, and follow up with the webpage analytics, Additionally would be responsible for a monthly regulatory newsletter.
8. Identify and manage compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies as necessary.
9. Collaborate with the Compliance team to develop training materials and provide training to clients and internal stakeholders as necessary.
10. Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure that the organization remains up-to-date and compliant.
Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in chemistry, biology, environment, chemical engineering, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements to clients and internal stakeholders.
3. At least 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
4. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
5. Strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and implement long-term plans to achieve the organization's goals.
6. Attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and that all documentation is accurate and of high quality.
7. Analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends, insights, and solutions to problems.
8. Strong technical knowledge of chemical regulations, including REACH, GHS, and other relevant regulations.
