hela Sverige Plasman Gothenburg is hiring a new Senior R&D Specialist within painting to join the team in Gothenburg. The new Senior R&D Specialist will be a part of the R&D department together with other engineers with different specialities involved in many projects.
The main responsibility will be to support production, innovation and development with focus on improvement and efficiency.
Description
As a Senior R&D Specialist, you work with quality assurance and project management within painting/paint development. You perform and participate in complex projects, provide support for production processes, prepare changes to existing processes, work actively with improvement, work closely with clients and suppliers and participate in training colleagues within the area. You stay up to date in your area and are the engine within paint development.
Main responsibilities
Responsible to support development projects within paint according to Plasman APQP
Responsible for gate keeping engineering material within the paintshop
Responsible for internal and external communication with different departments, customers and suppliers
Responsible to drive complex and cross-functional projects within paint and adjacent areas
Responsible to support production sites within paint/paint development
Responsible to lead the development and maintenance of support processes within paint
Responsible to support and guide R&D Specialists within the area
Responsible for lessons learned and continuous improvement
Skills and qualifications
At least 15 years of professional experience whereof at least 10 years in specialist area with an automotive supplier or manufacturer
Relevant theoretical education BSc, MSc or higher
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical and well organized
• Fluent in English (written and orally)
