Headquartered in Ireland, delivering throughout Europe, Winthrop Engineering & Contracting is a leading engineering company employing circa 650 people in 2022. Due to continued expansion as a direct result of winning new business, we are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Belgium. This is greenfield data center project for which the team is being built right now!
Below is a list of typical duties but is not exclusive of all duties that are required to be carried out during the project.
Responsibilities
• Supervise the procurement of packages ensuring technical completion.
• Monitor sub-contractor and supplier payments and sub-contractor variations.
• Manage the project budget as directed by the Project Director.
• Manage relevant client communications.
• Document and cost changes to the work scopes and prepare the monthly valuations and final accounts.
Skills & Qualifications
• 5 years' experience in a similar role is essential, preferably within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment.
• Data Centre experience would be a significant advantage.
• Relevant level 8 degree.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
