We are now strengthening our global Service Markets organization and are looking for a Quality Manager to drive field quality, reliability, and warranty performance across our BESS portfolio.

This role sits at the intersection of service operations, engineering, and suppliers. Ensuring structured problem resolution and continuous improvement across operating assets.

As our BESS footprint grows globally, field quality and structured problem resolution are critical to safe and scalable service delivery.

You will play a key role in reducing warranty risk, improving reliability, and protecting customer trust.

Responsibilities will include among others:
In this role, you will take the lead in driving our quality and reliability excellence. You'll be responsible for conducting thorough root cause analyses (RCA) on field failures, recurring issues, and safety-related incidents, ensuring that every challenge becomes an opportunity for improvement. Working closely with engineering teams, suppliers, and service partners, you'll steer both corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) that strengthen our products and customer experience.

You will continuously monitor field performance data across markets, identify emerging reliability trends, and act as a key escalation point for complex technical quality cases. Your work will also play an important part in improving warranty cost control through structured containment measures and long-term prevention strategies.

Collaboration will be central as you support our supplier and partner quality governance, follow up on performance, and ensure we meet all safety, regulatory, and contractual quality standards. Most importantly, you will help transform insights and lessons learned into systematic service improvements-driving Volvo Energy forward as we power the future of sustainable transport.

Qualifications required to be successful
Experience in quality, reliability, or field engineering within BESS, renewables, power systems, or HV environments
Strong competence in structured problem-solving (8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, etc.)
Solid understanding of power electronics, control systems, and grid-connected systems
Analytical, structured, and data-driven mindset
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
