The team is responsible for u-blox products quality and reliability related work in our Short Range (SHO) sites in Malmö(Sweden), Berlin(Germany), Salem(United States) and Athens(Greece).
Your focus as quality engineer is to support module development projects in all aspects of related to module quality and reliability as well as taking care of qualifications, customer return analysis and 8D reporting. Furthermore, you will support production, test, and R&D engineering in all tasks related to quality aspects.
For this role we expect an education in electrical engineering, IoT or telecommunications.

The role is located in Malmö, Sweden.
Your Responsibilities
Interface FAEs from all regions and define actions for receiving and analyzing customer returns
Manage and compile 8D reporting procedure for customer returns cases escalated to Quality
Maintain database for customer returns
Interface R&D, production engineering and suppliers in order to initiate and follow-up corrective actions required by the individual cases
Coordinate physical failure analysis with internal and external laboratories
Work closely with R&D to determine/predict component and system life using tools such as FMEA, DoE, reliability testing, etc. to ensure and predict excellent reliability and extended operating life of the products
Support implementation of product qualification requirements for SHO products
Develop module level reliability test plans (including sample size, test time, measurements) to achieve reliability goals and meet specifications
Coordinate reliability testing as well as physical failure analysis with internal and external labs
Compile and deliver reliability report and MTBF report
Your Skills and Experience
Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications or semiconductor industry
EU-citizen or valid work permit for EU
Excellent knowledge in Quality Reliability Engineering, Failure Analysis and 8D process
Excellent knowledge in statistics
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills
Experiences in project management is a plus
Work independently, self-motivated, disciplined and proactively
Experience in Automotive industry (ISO/TS16949, PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA, MSA, etc.) is a plus
Excellent English communication skills
Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
