About the Assignment
You will help build and evolve modern backend services that support business-critical applications in a cloud-native environment. The assignment focuses on designing, developing and maintaining scalable, reliable and high-performing services using serverless architecture and event-driven patterns.
You will work in a complex distributed systems landscape where performance, availability and maintainability are central. The role includes close collaboration with developers, architects, product owners and DevOps engineers to make sure technical solutions support both business needs and long-term platform goals. You will also take part in architectural discussions and contribute to engineering decisions that shape how the platform moves forward.

Job DescriptionYou will develop and maintain backend services built on AWS Serverless architecture.
You will implement scalable and reliable solutions in Python.
You will design and build services for data-driven and event-based architectures.
You will work with AWS storage and database services to support application functionality.
You will troubleshoot, optimize and improve backend systems to secure high availability and strong performance.
You will contribute to CI/CD automation and help improve deployment workflows.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business and platform needs.
You will help ensure that solutions follow best practices for security, scalability and maintainability.
RequirementsStrong experience in Python backend development.
Experience building scalable backend systems in cloud environments.
Solid experience with AWS Serverless technologies, including AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions and AWS API Gateway.
Experience working with event-driven architectures.
Hands-on experience with AWS databases and storage solutions.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL.
Experience using Git for version control.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI/CD.
Understanding of data-driven application design.
Familiarity with modern cloud-native development practices.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to haveExperience with Angular or React.
Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD).
Experience building microservices in cloud environments.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
