hela Sverige Vi söker nu en senior inköpare till vår kund som är ett snabbväxande företag inom Life Science.
As Senior Purchaser you manage assigned suppliers and commodities. You coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. This includes managing the inventory level. You are responsible for supplier evaluation, selection, qualification of materials and suppliers as well as supplier performance management. Placing purchase orders and follow up deliveries is part of your daily responsibility. You work in close collaboration with the Global Purchasing team to deliver best value from bought in goods/materials and services, to maximize profitability. You report to Supply Chain Director Sweden.
Several years of related experience in vendor management is required, preferably in a diagnostic or pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate is familiar with raw materials used in biomedical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing and is experienced in SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practise), etc. Furthermore you have demonstrated successful contract supplier negotiation involving cost reduction independent of volume increase, vendor managed inventory and/or supply flexibility increase.
As Senior Purchaser you have many and frequent contact surfaces with other departments and groups internally as well as globally and with suppliers. Furthermore you are self motivated and you are able to create value alone. You are capable of managing multiple, high-priority assignments and you manage projects effectively and meet firm deadlines. With the HQ based in California, the ideal candidate is able to work flexible hours since meetings can be scheduled after office hours to coordinate with the US operations.
Skallkrav:
• Excellent computer skills, including Excel and SAP
• Bachelor 's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Fluent in Swedish as well as English, both written and spoken
Börkrav:
• Experience in a diagnostic or pharmaceutical environment
