We are looking for an experienced all-round communication professional with emphasis on Public Affairs that has a strong drive and can bring instant value to the organization.
Job Description:
In the role you will support day-to-day Public Affairs and Communication (PAC) activities as part of the Nordic PAC Department and be a vital part of strategic planning. The objectives of the department are to create a favorable business environment, safeguard local operations and promote our business. Your responsibilities will be to:
• Support PAC department with analysis of the business environment and planning
• Implement Public Affairs strategy, create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Support media relations and social media activities
• Strengthen local commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility
• Prepare and support company events and executive visits
Huawei is a leading international ICT-solutions provider offering products and solutions to operators, enterprises and consumers throughout the Nordics. Huawei Nordics is a fast growing organization and you will have opportunities to develop and grow with the organization. You will be reporting directly to the Nordic PAC Manager and will work in close collaboration with other members of the team and external consultants. The role is Nordic, your main focus will be on the Swedish market, but you will also have the opportunity to work with the Danish and Finnish market.
We are looking for a candidate that:
• Has 5 years experience of working with Public Affairs and Communications in the Swedish market. Relevant experience from Public Affairs at a PR agency, ministry or authority is a necessity.
• Experience of working with media relations and social media.
• Comfortable with both strategic and tactical communications.
• Has experience from working in a fast paced environment, is self going and can manage several projects simultaneously.
• Outgoing and convincing communicator with excellent teamwork skills
• Experience from the ICT-market and our business environment is relevant, but not a necessity.
• Professional qualification featuring a university degree, preferably in economics, politics, law or administrative science.
• Speaks and writes well in Swedish and English. Knowledge of Chinese or other Nordic languages is beneficial.
• Has a valid work and residence permit in Sweden
We are looking for an all-round communication professional with emphasis on Public Affairs.
Your personality should be outgoing and be able to easily adapt to a new corporate culture. You are an excellent communicator used to expressing yourself in writing and speeches, including preparing presentations. It will be important that you are self-going, analytical, constantly take the initiative and can adapt in an ever changing business environment. Regular business travel will be part of the job.
