hela Sverige Are you an experienced Project Manager, who wants to take on challenging projects within Surface Sensors Solutions at Saab? Surface Sensors Solutions is growing and we are looking for several Senior Project Managers!
Your role
As a Senior Project Manager at Surface Sensors Solutions you will work as either the main project manager or deputy project manager for complex large development and delivery projects to our customers. The role of the project manager is to balance the technical aspects with the commercial aspects, time schedule, scope and budget to meet the contractual obligations and deliver customer value. The ability to create structure from uncertainty and to communicate progress, goals and direction to both internal and external stakeholders is key abilities with our project managers.
A project manager has full responsibility for all project management aspects in our projects including:

Project management during the execution phase including establish and follow up on the time schedule, milestones, budget etc.

Interface towards the customer during execution and responsible for fulfillment of contract including negotiations
*
Ensure short and long term profitability of the project and secure fulfillment of the project goals
*
Challenge the organization to continuously improve in order to contribute to increased efficiency in our operations
*
Inform and establish commitment for the project in the organization in order to meet the customers' expectations and to ensure commercial success of the project
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You are comfortable working both independently within your field of competence as well as with other interfaces in order to secure quality, to meet directives and deadlines. You are a team player, willing to walk the extra mile for your team and its objectives. Business area Surveillance offers world-leading technology for monitoring and decision support to protect against threats. The portfolio covers radar systems, electronic warfare, combat systems as well as safety and security solutions.
Product Unit Surface Radar Solutions has global responsibility for Saab's ground based and naval radar systems and is responsible for profit & loss of our surface radar portfolio including system sales, upgrades and services business.
Within Surface Sensors Solutions the Project Management offices are responsible for executing all won contracts and base projects with the main task to secure good profitability, cash flow, delivery precision, quality and customer satisfaction over time.
There are three project management offices; Systems, Series & Upgrades and Services, all working closely with Marketing & Sales to win our business and with Engineering and Sourcing & Production to deliver our contracts.
