We want you to have:
• Several years of successful project management experience, preferably IT-projects
• Experience from leading/managing large projects with high demanding customers
• Experience from leading complex assignments, preferably in the automotive industry
• Project Management certification is an advantage
• We consider experience from leading/managing
• agile projects and/or
• integration projects and/or
• SAP projects as additional merits
Your general qualifications and skills:
• Academic qualifications within relevant field of expertise
• General knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process
• Experience of working in the consultancy business
• International experience will be considered an advantage
• Excellent command of spoken and written Swedish and English
• Leadership skills
• Communicative team-player
• Proactive and with a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve
Your profile:
As a project manager you take on challenging global assignments within Volvo Group as well as for our external customers. You have the ability to run complex IT and business projects meeting quality, time and cost targets. You manage projects with multi-functional teams in a global organization and you feel comfortable with a complex stakeholder structure. In addition you need to be a team player with strong communication skills. You have the ability to quickly grasp and understand customer needs and your top priority is to enhance the customers business by executing the project according to the customer's requirements.
Position Description:
Global Consulting Services is Volvo IT's consulting organization. Our consultants work in the following strategic areas; Project Management, IT Architecture & Technology, Requirement, Usability, SAP, Test and Software Configuration Management and are among the best in their field. They take on challenging global assignments from customers in the Volvo Group and other customers in the automotive sector.
Our role is to secure and offer expertise in our customers' focus areas, increase the quality of deliveries, reduce the reliance on external consultants and contribute to successful projects.
