About the role
This position is an important role in our growth journey and non the less for our patients who rely on our products. As a project manager you will have the opportunity to work throughout the full project cycle from concepting to high-volume manufacturing and market introduction. The role is a part of our R&D Team in Hörby, reporting to Head of Project Management.
Initial, creative development stages will be strongly supported and facilitated by our Front-end team, and throughout the different stages of the product development journey you will collaborate with our talented R&D team, external partners and a variety of different functions within our company, always with our end-users in the centre.
We are offering remote work, which means that you could work from home or our Hyllie office from time to time.
Your responsibilities
• Plan and lead the product development work from concepting to launch
• Inspire and coach the team to deliver
• Assure that the solutions we bring to market are meeting user needs as well as business needs (feasibility & viability)
• Assure that stakeholders are informed and aligned with the project progress
About you
You have a strong technical and leadership background, and you take great pride on achieving targets and delivering results. To be successful in this role you must be a strong communicator who understands the bigger picture. You are a team player with the ability to take out direction and make sure everyone keeps moving forward to reach our common goals. To find new ways and approaches along the way comes naturally for you.
We do believe that we have the ability to help you be successful in this position through mentoring and support. To fill the requirements for the position you do need to fulfil most of this:
• MSc or BSc in Engineering of relevant orientation (e.g., Mechanical, Medical, Chemical)
• 5+ years of experience in project management
• A successful track record within product development
• Strong communication skills (English)
• A passion for user-centric innovation and a strong drive to deliver
• Experience from Medical device or Pharma Industry is definitely a plus
