On Nordea's behalf, Sigma is recruiting several experienced Senior Project Managers to IT Group Functions!

Role description
IT Group Functions is supporting different business units in the integration of Group data and reporting platforms to the Common Data Warehouse. IT Group Functions also provides IT support for Business, Financial and Regulatory reporting including Basel, Liquidity risk and G-SIB.

The Project Management group within IT Group Functions consists of experienced project managers and they are now looking to expand the team with several new colleagues in order to support delivery of the most strategically important projects.

As a project manager you will lead complex and strategically important regulatory reporting and data warehouse development projects within IT Group Functions at Nordea. These projects are characterised by: 

• High complexity
• Requires deep understanding of banking business partners, mainly finance and reporting
• Building applications on the Common Data Warehouse with focus on reporting
• Delivery through a value chain including several sourcing vendors
• Challenging and critical deadlines to meet market and regulatory authority demands
• Solutions using the latest technology to fulfil business demands 

You will get the possibility to use your project management skills within the dynamic and challenging IT Group Functions division. You will be a part of a team of highly specialized project managers working with some of the most important projects within Nordea.

The position is located in Sweden but you must have the willingness to travel when needed.

Your profile and qualifications
We are looking for experienced project managers with strong track records of driving complex projects in a challenging environment to successful conclusions. You must have great leadership skills and we believe that you are able to manage large project teams with cross-border team members. We also believe that you value accountability and that you are willing to do what it takes to deliver on time.

To qualify for this position, you must have 

• More than 5 years of experience delivering software development projects with focus on Financial Services (or other regulated industries) and/or data warehouse development.
• Have worked more than 3 years managing complex projects (i.e. management of a large number of interfaces, stakeholders as well as number of sub-projects managed through sub-project managers).
• Recognized Project Manager qualification (IPMA, PMI or Prince2 certification).
• At a minimum a Bachelor degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or Finance/Economics.
• Strong communication skills with excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) are required since you primarily will be running projects consisting of cross-border team members.

Should you also have banking project management experience and understanding of processes related to Financial and Regulatory reporting (Basel, FATCA, FINREP etc.) it would be an advantage. Proven experience in driving projects with an offshore delivery element is also preferred.
