For social robots, the time is now: they are no longer 'science fiction '. All over the world - in universities and research labs as well as in schools, hospitals, airports, shops, offices, hotels, and more - social robots are being explored and deployed today to help people live better lives, support employees, delight customers, and add value to businesses as well as new insights to researchers. Humans are entering a new era were talking to machines and interacting with them in our most natural ways is becoming normal. But it 's still early days in this revolution. The rules are still being written, and the road ahead is wide open.
You will work alongside the experienced management team and colleagues from the offices in Stockholm and Canada. By joining this company, you will be in the driving seat of bringing new and exciting technology to the market.
As the Senior Project Manager, you will:
• Set the overall project strategy and plan, and align with both the client and required team members
• Drive recruitment of additional team members
• Plan, facilitate and follow up on meetings and workshops
• Be the point of contact for the client team and coordinate all communication
• Plan and oversee the execution of multiple pilots onsite in Saudi Arabia, likely by being onsite yourself
• Shape the strategy and plan for a project extension following the 1st year, and pitch and negotiate this with support from the CEO
To be an ideal candidate, you must have:
• Be available to start early May
• 8+ years experience experience in project management with external clients
• Experience of working with emerging technology, preferably hardware
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Be willing to travel to Saudi Arabia multiple times in the coming year
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong interpersonal skills and feel comfortable interacting and presenting to very senior client stakeholders
• Experiende in preparing and giving presentations and demonstrations in English
• Previous experience in negotiating and closing major deals
It would be great if you also have:
• Native/bilingual proficiency in English
• Experience of working towards the Middle East
• Previous experience working with startups
• Experience working with robots or conversational systems
• Knowledge in Arabic
