As Senior Project/Program Manager you will work in the Tacton Professional Services organization managing project delivery, and are fully accountable for delivery of desired outcomes and end state solutions. The Senior Project Manager must proactively monitor and track project progress against strategic and business objectives as well as take full accountability for management of scope, schedule and budget. Work will be performed onsite and/or remotely per terms defined in the SOW.
As Senior Project Manager you are responsible for managing projects for both existing and new customers, ensuring that project deadlines and deliverables are managed according to time and budget constraints, managing project team members who may be onsite/offsite onshore/offshore, and following and providing input into standard PMO procedures. You are an excellent verbal and written communicator, in Swedish and English, who can articulate both simple and complex topics so all project team members understand.
In this position you are the single point of contact for the customer relationship at the tactical level, and are responsible for the development and maintenance of detailed project plans to facilitate work for a global project team. You are fully accountable for delivery of requirements to satisfy the Statement of Work (SOW) and all other contract requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Manage programs and/or projects to specification as defined in the contract, and provide technical, schedule, and budgetary direction to the project team consistent with the contract. Tacton projects typically include installation, training, configuration modeling, integrations and software development/customizing.
Accountable for delivering projects on time, and within scope and budget.
Ensure all project teams align to contractual requirements and converge at the appropriate time for a successful deployment.
Manage delivery through virtual teams of onsite and offshore resources. Must have experience with remote management of multicultural teams comprised of customers, partners, third parties, consultants and other internal stakeholders.
Must be able to perform as a peer to senior staff within both Tacton and client organizations.
Manage client expectations and perceptions throughout the implementation process.
Maintain and promote communications through project status meetings (both internal and client-facing) and status reports.
Comply with Tacton Quality standards, i e Tacton project model D3.
Assists sales teams with development of responses to RFPs and project estimates.
Provide timely distribution of formal and informal communication to customers, team members, sponsors and key stakeholders.
Responsible for conducting QA and peer reviews of project deliverables and manages product and expectations through final acceptance. Presents results of reviews to clients for final acceptance.
The position may require that you are based outside Sweden for 1-2 years.
Desired Skills and Experience
Education and Experience required
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or any relevant fields. MS degree is desirable.
10+ years of project management whereof 5+ years for international projects. It is a merit to have been based abroad.
Experience from similar organizations is a requirement, e g ERP, CRM, CPQ or PLM implementation projects.
