Metso Minerals (Sweden) AB in Sala, featuring around 240 employees, works with international projects in mineral processing, where we supply complete processing plants including equipment, engineering, steel, piping and in some cases construction. In addition to the Mining Systems product line, the unit in Sala has the product responsibility for the Process Equipment and Slurry Pump product lines, there is also a manufacturing unit for the Slurry Pump product line. Metso's technology and products are cutting edge and we continuously strive to deliver the very best.
In this stimulating role, you will lead and manage large and complex projects, ensuring they are successfully completed on time, within baseline budgets and to the customer's specification. You will generally be assigned at the tender stage and will participate in the pre-contract negotiations. You will work to ensure the successful completion of the project with focus on e.g. organizing resources, schedule, budget, administration and quality.
Ideally, you will have a Master or Bachelor in engineering/business or equivalent acquired competence. You are experienced in project management from large industrial projects, it is an advantage if you have experience from mining projects. You have good knowledge in contracts, procurement, quality control and cost control. Your organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment will be important in this role.
Furthermore you are a skilled communicator, fluent in Swedish and English with an ability to successfully work with a large network of contacts. Extensive travelling is part of the job, a valid passport and a driver's license is required.
