The BlueStep Group was established in 2005 and BlueStep Finans AB is a Swedish Credit Markets Company and Sweden?s leading specialist residential mortgage lender and a leading niche provider of retail deposit products in Sweden. BlueStep commenced international expansion into the Norwegian non-conforming residential mortgage and retail deposit market in 2010 and launched a second leading product (Unsecured Personal Loans) in Sweden in late 2011.
BlueStep is controlled by the Bregal Capital LLC a UK based private equity firm and local management.
Job Description
The position is central within BlueStep and will strengthen the company?s capacity and ability to research and deliver major projects involving operations and IT in Scandinavia. The person will drive projects from idea to implementation in which involves strategic planning, execution and delivery of business initiatives including systems and IT. He or she will ensure that projects are aligned with strategic plans/objectives and establishing links between the projects and current operations.
The position also includes involvement in current systems and IT operations, supporting improvements, change and development of current systems and infrastructure.
Preferred Candidate Requirements
• Experience from retail banking/lending in Scandinavia
• Excellent project management skills at strategic and operational level resulting in sustainable results
• Hands on with a good all round business knowledge
• Ability to manage different initiatives simultaneously
• Ability to influence and drive the overall systems and IT strategy at an corporate level and influence decisions for the company
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization.
• Sound business judgment
• Combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Good knowledge of Word and Excel required
• Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
• Analytical
• Strong network of contacts
• Good spoken and written English and Swedish
