Quickspin is an online slot game provider with the pursuit of creating the most thrilling experience ever. We also happen to be really awesome. To continue the success story, we are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the PMO team in Stockholm!
About the role
A Senior Project Manager will be a part of the awesome Project Management Office (PMO) at Quickspin. The European gambling industry is changing with several large markets being regulated, introducing new regulatory requirements in a fast pace. You will play a leading role in our development and will be responsible for managing a couple of simultaneous cross department projects, in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. Your main responsibilities will include leading various projects from start to finish. You will be making project plans, getting requirements from customers and our commercial team, defining project scope, setting up ways of working with different teams, tracking if the work is done on time, and many more things. You will also be coordinating with the stakeholders and external partners and reporting the status of your projects to the involved groups and Quickspin management.
Within the PMO we share some responsibility areas among us, and besides from managing projects, you will play an important role in our key processes (Project-, Release-, and Change-Management), collaborating with other departments. You will be managing both internal and external stakeholders, setting expectations and communicating reality as well as visions. You will also be working with some of the best talent in this industry and your knowledge and experience will be an invaluable factor to make both individuals and the team grow. We work in small teams with the ambition to always keep improving the way we work. You are a fun and relaxed natural leader, who knows how to bring energy to the persons you are working with!
Qualifications and Experience
Besides a huge interest in leadership and project management, we would like you to have:
• A minimum of 5 years of project managing complex software development projects within the IT-industry.
• Advanced spoken and written English.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• A passion for communication and transparency within the organization.
• A passion for making teams and individuals grow.
• Experience of agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean.
• Ambition and drive to grow as a leader and project manager.
• Experience of release management is meriting.
• Experience with GIT and Jira is meriting.
• Experience of gambling industry is meriting.
• Previous experience from working in other roles (like developer or QA) within software development is meriting.
