About the job
Once you join us as Senior Project Manager, you're responsible for running a large and long-term project, part of a bigger program, connected to our Enterprise Business Platform and especially our supply and order-to-delivery process. Your responsibility reaches all the way from initiation to roll out, and you ensure delivery on time, according to budget and within the specified scope of quality. You set the overall project plan and to make sure we meet objectives and achieve successful results, you allocate the right resources, ensure efficient use of assets and manage upcoming dependencies, risks and opportunities.
Your interactions across our business are widely spread, and your role comes with high exposure within Sandvik Coromant. You constantly drive and promote change, and by interacting with our global production units, technical and supply chain experts, IT professionals and other important stakeholders, you set the scene for strong collaboration. This means communicating with people from their perspective, as well as ensuring that everyone is on board and knows what needs to be done. You're also a supportive, motivational and stable leader for your project team - someone to rely on and share experiences with.
The location for this position is in Sandviken and some global travel is part of your job.
About you
You have an extensive background within project management and a strong toolbox of project methodologies and resource planning. Your career includes responsibility for large, complex projects - all the way from start up, through to implementation and roll out - preferably connected to IT system support or manufacturing/supply processes. You understand order-to-delivery and know how to transform business requirements into well adapted ERP systems. It's important that you're skilled in change and stakeholder management, and easily navigate across teams, functions and cultural borders. To do so, you also need to be fluent in written and spoken English.
Organizational skills, resourcefulness and dynamic leadership are your keys to success in this mission. With a structured yet agile approach, you drive and support us through change, and you deliver timely results according to plan. Your broad horizon enables you to keep track of activities and, at the same time, identify bottlenecks, gaps and success factors. You challenge us when needed, and you confidently stand by your vision when the wind blows in different directions. Naturally, you're also a strong communicator and collaborator - a person who connects people, processes and technology to have all the necessary pieces in our project puzzle.
