As the Senior Project Manager at Mareld Studios, you are responsible for overseeing all ongoing projects and developing the project manager's team. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and that objectives are met. You are responsible for addressing business needs, managing resources, and successfully navigating and delivering all aspects of the assignment.
Role Requirements
Project Manager of new business opportunities together with the CEO and Creative Director.
Successfully deliver projects with high-quality project deliverables, on-time, and on budget.
Lead the weekly resources meeting, having an overview of all ongoing projects, and staffing projects based on needs when it comes to staffing correctly with both internal and external partners.
Able to successfully manage multiple suppliers, partners, and clients to ensure the best outcome for both client/s and Mareld Studios. Keep stakeholders informed of project progress at all times and manage expectations proactively.
Set up and facilitate both internal and client post-project review and share learnings with relevant parties.
Track and report the financial status of a project against current estimates. Highlight potential overruns before they occur. Escalate and resolve financial issues as they happen.
Assist in training of production managers on project methodology.
Qualities and characteristics
5+ years experience as a project manager with a commercial/production agency or in-house.
Strong EQ, problem-solving, and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.
Ability to discuss with clients regarding merits of projects/work streams being delivered.
Strong organization skills - responsive to colleagues for overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Make sound commercial/financial decisions, quickly understand problems, propose solutions and manage customer situations.
Negotiates well, listens actively, and makes compelling points.
Make a positive contribution to the team and receive positive feedback.
Constantly strive to improve Mareld Studios' delivery practices, processes and procedures.
