Do you want to be a key player in our project organization KEAB (Karlatornet Entreprenad AB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Serneke Group AB (publ)? We are part of the development of the new Karlastaden neighborhood in Gothenburg and are responsible for implementing the Karlatornet project. Here, we are currently constructing what (at 245 meters and 73 stories) will be the tallest building in the Nordic region. You will be part of a dedicated team and an innovative group with ambitious expansion plans.

About the position

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Director who is motivated by challenges and who is eager to assume overall responsibility for our turnkey contract to construct Gothenburg's new landmark - the Karlatornet tower. Your duties will include budgeting and cost management and you will be responsible for reporting to the client, as well as for monitoring and inspecting the progress of the entire project and assuring the quality of its delivery.

Besides being backed up by an extremely knowledgeable and dedicated project organization, in this assignment, you will also work with, and be supported by, an advisory board of senior international experts. You will play a central and significant role in Serneke's organization - and you will be part of the KEAB management team, reporting to the CEO.

Who are you?

To succeed in this assignment, we expect you to have completed one or more projects of a similar caliber and to have extensive experience of the planning and production phases in the large and complex projects segment. You should be accustomed to large and highly competent project organizations and it is a merit to have worked with international clients in such contexts. We also require you to have worked with tall residential buildings and it is particularly advantageous if you have worked with slipforming, climbing formwork and/or curtainwall on taller buildings, as well as with tenants gradually moving in as production continues. We also expect you to have well-documented and successful experience in management.

As this is a role involving multiple contact interfaces, we require that you have good collaborative and communicative capacity and are accustomed to working in both Swedish and international corporate cultures. As an individual, you are flexible and like getting things done. You work independently and prioritize appropriately. In addition, you have a good sense of structure and are motivated by the complexity of large international projects. A project of this type is not for everyone, but if you have what it takes, this may be your next dream project.

What we offer If you start working with us, you will quickly notice that commitment, courage, respect and simplicity permeate Serneke. We are very eager to support and help one another at all levels of the organization and we appreciate new ideas for our mutual improvement. We offer a flexible working environment with brief lines of command, considerable personal responsibility and substantial opportunities for future professional development.
