Do you have strong financial knowledge of IFRS rules for long term contracts? Adecco Finance & Legal can now offer you an interesting assignment with our client based in Solna.
About the project
The project aims to implement a new signaling system for the Stockholm red line Metro. The project team is based in Sweden but workpackages inside ASTS Group in France, Italy and USA. The projects budget is about 700 million and 100 people are tied to the project world wide, about 20-30 are located in Sweden. Initially the role calls for some business travels to France for on boarding and training but a big part can be done via teleconferences. You will report to the Senior Finance Executive in France but you will also work closely with the Swedish project leader.
Your role
Under the responsibility of the Controlling coordinator of France & Sweden you will be a part of the project team and advice to the Project Manager. Your role is to:
• Carry out costs evaluation and analysis
• Complete profit calculation and work with revenue recognition
• Provide calculation information to concerned members
• Work as contact between several parties and convey information efficiently
• Progress meeting with WPL in coordination with the Project Planner
• Economical synthesis and planning of the project
• Consolidation of the project data in ASTS Group and coordination of local Project controllers
• Profit analysis and advice to improve profitability of the project
• Invoicing/Cash flow follow up
• Legal closing activities (cut-off) according IFRS rules
• Yearly budget preparation, quarterly revision of the budget
• Monthly report preparation (variation analysis vs. Budget) and Quarterly Project Reviews participation with Top management and CFO
• Improvement of controlling processes in Sweden
Do you have more than 5 years of first hand experience of international project control and strong financial knowledge of IFRS rules for long term contracts? Are you an adaptive fast learner accustomed to foreign business cultures who is not afraid to stand your ground? Are you also a proficient user of SAP and Excel and have strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken? Then you will easily fit into your new role! Since you will be working close to contacts in France, knowledge of French is also a merit.

We are looking to fill the position immediately and it will last until January 2017, chances are good that the project will be prolonged for another year after that. As a consultant you will be employed by Adecco Sweden.
