What will you work with as Project Buyer of Capex equipment within electro mobility?
Within the Investment team we work with the mindset that the right buyer should work with the right project, meaning that depending on person, level of experience and skills, the projects will vary. Having that said, the exact portfolio will depend on you and your interests. But to give you an idea of what a day might look like this will be your overall tasks:
You will be responsible for leading purchasing activities for Capex investment projects in the area of product development testing and manufacturing equipment to Volvo owned plants in Europe. This means activities like:
Preparing and executing sourcing projects from A to Z
Leading supplier negotiations
Building and maintaining strong business relationships with our suppliers
Building and maintaining strong relationship with internal stakeholders
In addition, you will be leading purchasing activities related to involvement of suppliers in technology development projects for your area
In all activities we continuously monitor and focus on securing supplier QDCFTSR performance QDCFTSR = Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management
