Within Vehicle Purchasing, we, CAB Interior Driving team, are looking for a Senior Project Buyer, located either in Gothenburg (Sweden) or in Saint Priest (France) with travels required occasionally.
WHAT is the job?
You are our purchasing interface towards projects and suppliers in your segments during the entire project phase. You are accountable for securing that the project targets are met and maintained. Together with the commodity buyer, the purchasing and cross-functional network, you will proactively drive all relevant activities, use all needed tools and means to continuously secure a best in class supplier QDCFTSR performance.
You also :
Manage the sourcing activities in project phase until the supplier selection, in close cooperation with the commodity buyer to secure we act according to strategy
Manage project performance reviews with suppliers and stakeholders
Provide input on supplier project performance to the commodity buyer
Ensure deliverables from suppliers to fulfill APQP activities managed by SQE
Challenge, negotiate and report changes after contract signature and ensure continuous fulfillment of project targets
Manage parts and orders in project phase and ensure a timely part transfer in the system to the commodity buyer
Ensure that the supplier is prepared for production, including capacity and all needed system updates (Parma codes, EDI connection ...)

To qualify for the position, you have several years of purchasing experience, preferably in automotive, with adequate academic education: Master of Science or Business Administration
