To make that happen we need the best to join our in-house Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) team. About the role
As part of the Civil, Structural, Architectural NOVO Energy design team, you will be leading the coordination and management of the architectural project of the industrial areas with focus on developing the technically advanced "clean & dry" rooms.
As a Senior Project Architect you will oversee and manage the consultant teams to meet deliverables and drive continuous development of the project's planning, coordination and design.
What you will do in your role
- Coordinate interfaces between multiple vendors. Aligning design input from equipment vendors and building infrastructure.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, Swedish building regulations and general governance.
- Establishing robust quality control procedures to ensure that all models and datasets are accurate and that the level of information is fit for purpose.
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with a wide variety of project stakeholders both internal and external to the organization.
Your background
We believe you have worked with complex large scale industrial projects (automotive, pharmaceutical). You are skilled at communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.

Essentials
- A university degree in relevante field is required
- 5 -10 years of experience
- Specialist experience from "clean & dry" or similar complex industrial environments
- Have experience from large scale industrial projects
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, Swedish is a plus
- Have the ability to discuss technical topics with a variety of audiences - contractors, engineers, and members of various divisions within organization.

Our Gigafactory in Gothenburg will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe, with a potential annual cell production capacity of up to 50 gigawatt hours (GWh) - thereby enabling a supply of batteries for approximately half a million Volvo and Polestar cars per year. Our state-of-the-art R&D facility will gather leading expertise from all over the world, to create the next generation battery cells.
