Job description
Project management assignments;
The customer is looking for a senior program manager for an upcoming multi-country IT and business project. The main task will be to steer and manage the Common Sales System program but will in addition to the responsibility for the program as a whole, also include project management of individual projects as needed.
The goal is to purchase and implement a standard solution for Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.
The program includes systems for program planning, program scheduling, sales, customer loyalty management etc. The program will be responsible for procurement, implementation, roll out, customization, identify business impact and required business process changes and integration. The role will report to an operational sponsor as well as an executive sponsor.
Required competence
• Reports to and receives direction from Executive & Program Sponsors
• Develops program contract including project plans and program organization
• Participates in and approves project plan and deliverables
• Manages, reviews, and prioritizes the project work plans with objective to stay on time and on budget
• Provides status and progress reviews to Executive Sponsor and Steering Committee
• Manages program resources
• Reports status to and receive feedback from Steering Committee
• Collaborates with project managers to resolve issues within individual projects or within portfolios
• Brings issues to the Steering Committee as needed
• Recommends resource and policy changes to the Steering Committee
• Identifies required project team members and constructs project teams
• Meets with project managers to regularly review issues and monitor progress
• Motivates and coaches project managers and team members
• Monitors contract compliance
• Approves job orders and change orders
• Conducts risk management analysis
• Meets facility and resource requirements
• Reviews and approves deliverables
Profile:
• Experience from leading large scale programs/project including procurement and implementation of standard systems in a multi-market and multi-country environment, working with senior management teams and earning their trust.
Skills:
• Documented project management experience > 10 years
• Change Management
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Start: February/March
Duration: 6 months - 3 years full time. Initial assignment period of 6 month with option to extend.
Location: Stockholm
Required languages: Swedish & English
