hela Sverige We are looking for an experienced and engaged Senior Program Manager within our Powertrain & Chassis division. The position is located at our facilities in Mullsjö, Sweden and is reporting to Program Director Europe.
Following the Knowledge-based Development New Product Introduction and Product Improvement Process, the future incumbent will bring forward products and/or systems from concept and strategic identification to serial production. You will also act as an expert in Kongsberg systems and processes, providing support to the European Program Management team where needed in either project management, training of cross functional teams or supporting other Program Managers where necessary.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the management of a program from concept, strategic target to running production and launch management.
• Establish and manage the project team
• Work closely with Sales regarding the strategic direction of Kongsberg Automotive relationship with customers
• Maintain focus on initiated projects to gain additional benefits for the business area through gaining efficiencies in program (operational, design, purchasing).
• Ensure and audit proper project documentation via PLM structure and Kongsberg Automotive's project and portfolio management system
• Always follow Kongsberg Automotive's Management System and Quality Assurance routines
• Planning and co-ordination of the project deliverables
• Overview and control of budget, turnover, EBIT level, etc. of the business
• Achieve complete customer satisfaction
• Reporting project/program status to the Steering Committee
• Establish relationships with the customers on necessary levels
• Observe public laws, directives, provisions and concessions with regard to health, environment and safety
Qualifications
• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in Program Management in the automotive industry
• Certification as Project Manager, Professional Project Manager according PMI or equivalent
• Experience in development projects of Electronics and functional safety products
• Knowledge in the fields of sales, product/process development, production, quality and/or, purchasing is desirable
• Leadership skills, personal drive and confidence to lead and work with cross functional international teams
• Proactive personality and used to support the team, ensure continuous learning and strengthens the teams vision
• Uncompromising personal integrity
• Intercultural competence
• Excellent analytical skills and strong intellectual curiosity that foster the ability to lead and work with cross functional international teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English. French is desirable.
