About the Role
You will take a central role in steering vehicle programs through key milestones in a complex automotive environment. Working closely with the Program Manager, you will support financial decision-making across the full program lifecycle, with focus on both investment control and long-term profitability.
This is a broad and collaborative role where you will work across Program Management, Research & Development, Manufacturing, Design, Procurement, Business Planning and Volume Planning. You will also interact with external development partners and program counterparts to secure reliable cost estimates and development proposals.
You will be involved in forecasting, budgeting and business planning for your assigned program, while ensuring that financial data is accurate, transparent and useful for decision-making. The role offers a strong combination of financial ownership, cross-functional exposure and real impact on strategic program decisions.
Job DescriptionYou will actively steer the program toward set financial and business targets.
You will secure and deliver quality-assured cost and investment data into program milestones.
You will own and maintain the program cost tracker.
You will explain variances and highlight the activities that drive changes in cost, investment and profitability.
You will monitor and improve the accuracy and transparency of inputs to the profit model, including following up on system status and taking action when needed.
You will support decision-making related to IPL and/or BPL by providing timely data, investigations and business cases.
You will present the financial development of the program over time with a clear and structured message.
You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to optimize and stay on top of profit model inputs.
You will contribute to forecasting, budgeting and business planning for the assigned vehicle program.
Requirements7-10 years' experience in controlling or analyst roles.
Strong experience in controlling, including setting and following up targets.
Very strong Excel and data handling skills.
Outstanding analytical capabilities.
Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate inputs from numerous internal stakeholders.
Understanding of potential cost and revenue drivers within automotive.
You are self-motivated, driven and proactive in solving issues and suggesting improvements.
You communicate clearly and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
You have a solution-oriented mindset and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
