Role Overview

The Senior Production Planning Engineer will report to the Head of Manufacturing and your main mission is to create the most suitable production programs for the company considering the masterplan given by the Program Management area. Besides supporting the selection of our ERP and its implementation, you will also represent the Production Team at the Integrated Product Development (IDP) for Heart's Programs.

Responsibilities:

- Create optimized Production plan to control and track some production part in suppliers as well as Heart's own production, based on the established Masterplan and operational goals
- Create the procedures and establish the way of planning the Production
- Create production plan and implement the program in the ERP system
- Create consequence analysis with respect to the current production situation or a new Masterplan plan/Internal contract/Prospect/ program/scenario
- When necessary, create recovery programs
- Create capacity and workload plans for middle (1 to 5 years) and long-term (1 to 10 years)
- Create, update, and continuously communicate the overall production plan to the production organisation.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate degree in Aerospace, Mechanic, Electric, Production Engineer or comparable
- Minimum 8 years of experience in an aerospace company
- A very good knowledge about planning systems, such as ERP, Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc
- Relevant experience in ERP implementation, such as Oracle, SAP, IFS or equivalent
- Experience in dealing with MBOM (manufacturing bill of material)
- Experience in dealing with configuration control in the MBOM
- Ability to apply Critical Path Method for planning the production, respecting dependency between activities
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing
- A very good analytical capability
- Ability to get the overall picture as well as details
- Ability to draw conclusions and make own decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Eagerness to work with others
- Passion for aircraft and Heart's mission

The ideal candidate would have

- Experience working in an aerospace start-up environment.
- Formal qualification in Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent.
- Experience with aircraft development programs through the entire design, development & certification lifecycle (EASA/FAA Part 23 or 25)
- Knowledge or experience in Inbound Logistics and material flows
