Norstel AB is a high-tech company specialized in the development and production of Silicon Carbide in the form of crystals, wafers and surface layers. The main products are thin SiC wafers for diodes and transistors for energy efficient electronics. Our main customers are major international electronics manufacturers, but universities and research institutes worldwide also seek Norstel's products and services. The company also supplies materials for gemstone production. Our operations are based in Norrköping, where a manufacturing facility is specially designed and built for optimal production flow, with due regard to safety and Environment aspects. The company has extensive experience in the development and production of SiC. Norstel?s employees have published more than 200 publications and jointly have over 100 years of experience in the field.
Arbetsuppgifter:
Senior production engineer
Norstel AB now aims to increase production capacity to meet the strong demand for its high-quality products and services. The company is urgently looking for senior production engineers for the SiC crystal growth and wafering processes, with substantial experience in these specific areas. Main responsibilities include: -Prepare and evaluate technical documents; -Take charge of improving production yield and process flow; -Take charge of new process introduction and problem solving; -Lead the daily maintenance and troubleshooting for production equipment; -Lead other activities such as cost reduction, raw material evaluation and new machine installation.
Utbildning/erfarenhet:
Norstel AB is urgently looking for recruits with relevant educational background and a high level of experience in the field. This is an advanced level position. Main qualifications include: -Master degree or above, in Condensed Matter Physics, Semiconductor Physics, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Microelectronics or other relevant areas; -More than 8 years of experience in crystal growth, wafering or epitaxy processes for Silicon Carbide, Sapphire, Monocrystal Silicon, Gallium Nitride or other similar materials; -Proactive attitude and good communication skills; -Teamwork spirit and good learning skills; -Strong sense of responsibility, able to work on their own project; -Chinese language skill is a plus.
