We are now looking for a senior Production engineer to the plant in Örebro.
You will report to the Production engineering manager.
Main tasks for the Production engineer:
• Develop production methods mainly for new and revised milled products. This includes the process from casting / blanks: fixturing in collaboration with tool designer, tooling, CNC preparation supported by CAD / CAM, making appropriate instructions and run in of the new product in collaboration with the operators.
• Develop new production methods to improve and streamline the process of cutting machining.
• Daily support to the production departments.
Additional tasks:
• Participate in development projects both in terms of new products, re-design of products and production methods and to cut cost.
• Participate in investment projects, both initiate and possibly as project leader.
Your profile:
• You have a University degree in mechanical engineering or other equivalent education or training
• You have long experience from similar operations
• You like challenges and you are a driven person with good ability to analyze and make improvement conclusions
• You are a team player and easy to collaborate with
• You are fluent in written and spoken English
