The Diagnostics VCT (Value Creation Team) has gathered diagnostic competence into one common flow in order to further explore and expand the possibilities within the area. Our objectives span from developing and deliver world class SW applications used by R&D, Aftermarket and Production to creating harmonized diagnostic standards for the entre Traton group. This creates several interesting interfaces both within Scania and also towards other Traton brands. If you are interested to influence how we create and handle our diagnostic data and also interested to explore new ways to create future business using this data, this is the place to be.

The section has implemented EC Flow as our way of working (inspired by SAFe - Scaled Agile) and is looking for a senior product manager to help us drive the overall section part of the diagnostics product portfolio. To be able to succeed you will work together with the already existing Product Manager in the strategy section ECS, the team of product owners at and the managers. As a product manager you are a part of the section's management team.

What you will do
You will be a key person in the application part of the EC Flow (WoW at EC) setup.

Your main tasks will stretch from ensuring the product backlog to act as an object lead in ongoing projects. You will run the diagnostics product management synchronization meeting and implement the process of prioritization of PI goals and objectives. The input you get is strategies top-down and bottom-up.

You will make sure that our initiatives (research, project, improvements, incidents) have a plan forward and you will work on a high level mixed with driving initiatives.

In the management team you will contribute with a holistic view ensuring that decisions and direction is for the good of the section, the department and Scania as well as work for a well-functioning and efficient team.

Who you are
We are looking for a highly experienced engineer/project manager/manager with good structure and communication skills. You like to see things get done and you enjoy creating common goals. Agile development, continuous deployment and integration are well known to you.

You most likely have a formal degree in engineering physics, electrical engineering or computer science, or the equivalent experience. In addition you are expected to have at least 5 years' experience of working with technical products. Knowledge of the areas of diagnostics/SW applications/connectivity and/or the electrical system of (heavy) vehicles is a great advantage for this role.
