As a senior product manager you have end to end ownership of the financial area and it?s your responsibility to develop the product vision, around how money flows through multiple markets. It?s about scaling our payments products with customers in different countries and on a huge scale. We already process billions of USD in payments volumes but now it?s time to take this several steps further.
In this role you will need to influence both internally and externally. You will need to develop relationships with Banks and other partners and create strategies surrounding everything from in- and outsourcing to setting up foreign exchange capabilities. With the rapid expansion you will need to handle an increased complexity in regulations. You will work across the entire organization and working close together with Finance, Treasury and our Engineering teams. You will be in the midst of everything and will be a substantial contributor to where Klarna will be in the many years to come.
Enough challenge for you? Great, this is what we need from you:
• At least 5 years of work experience in the financial sector, e.g. Payment companies, Banks, Technology Management
• You are a high achiever and has a proven track record of building things and getting these done
• You enjoy working in fast-pace growth environment
• Deep knowledge of financials systems, preferably payment clearing & settlement of financial transactions or other transaction systems
• Ideally you have product management experience and are used to working with Software Development teams, including activities such as communicating roadmaps, specifying product requirements and managing backlogs of Developments teams
• Knowledge in foreign exchange is an advantage
