Dina arbetsuppgifter
The main purpose of the position is to drive the work with product design in development projects. That includes taking care of activities in order to fulfill the business objectives with new products and improvement of existing products according to the business strategy. This, in order to meet existing and future customer needs and to ensure the competitiveness of our wound care portfolio.

Another part of the position is to create and establish design guidelines regarding our existing advanced product portfolio in order to ensure a common use of the idiomatic expression in our products.

In this position you will be accountable for that the product documentation is in compliance with MDD and other relevant regulations.

Key accountabilities:

• Continuously search for and propose new solutions to meet customer needs
• Design new or improved products
• Introduce new properties in new or modified products based on new material or technologies
• Create and maintain contacts with users of wound care products and researchers in Science in order to ensure best possible knowledge of customer need
• Create and maintain contact with suppliers of materials and technology in order to ensure best available input to develop technical solutions
• Participate in projects in all stages in the Develop Customer Solution (DCS) process
• Document project result and product related documentation in accordance with the DCS system
• Act as a mentor within the R&D department for design control activities
• Build and maintain internal and external network
• Lead internal education/training within product design
• Lead cross functional teams
• Based on the long term business goals identify new opportunities for evaluation o fimportant product properties in order to increase growth, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency for the business

Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have an academic background within Product Development, Industrial Design Engineering or corresponding experience. You also have a minimum of 7-10 years industrial experience working with product development. It is a merit if you have work experience from food-, pharmaceutical-, or medical industry.

You have a strong drive and are very customer-oriented. The position requires accuracy, high integrity, and good communication skills. It is important that you are an excellent team-player and have ability to structure and prioritize, as you will be involved in a number of projects at various stages of development.
You also need to have good organizational, influencing and networking skills to drive improvements within the department as well as across functions.
