We are looking for a Senior Product designer to join our growing team. Being a senior product designer at Mentimeter means you play a big part in shaping the product experience, and the way we work, by focusing on how the design system enables teams to build great products.
The role has focus on:
Evolve our Design System - Design System view on how the product evolves, empowering a flexible & adaptable & scalable product that follows & pushes the product strategy
UI components - Driver of visual user interface design consistency, pushing our visual language, interaction patterns, ui motion etc on a holistic level
Create and evangelize guidelines and patterns to support product teams working on the product.
Enabling a consistent, cohesive and inclusive product experience across multiple touch points
Improve the accessiblity of our design system and products through best practices
Engage product teams in the design system and work on our contribution model
Being a bridging role between Design and Engineering, seeing multiple perspectives and help these crafts fuel each other through their work

Skills & Requirements
To thrive in this role as a Senior Product Designer we believe you are someone who loves the craft of design, has a solid background doing the work, as well as the technical aspects of bringing User Interfaces to life. You are still passionate about design as a craft and care about the details of digital product design, but your focus lies in the systematic leverage of Design systems and close Design-Engineer collaboration, and exploring design on a holistic and strategic level.
You get excited about scaling UI design - as a craft and as a function within the product organization. Coming from a product organization, you feel comfortable around change and thrive when trusted to drive part of this change in a growing team and organisation.
Of course you are someone passionate about the space of presentation software, innovative digital solutions and the realm of Software as a Service, eager to keep up with industry trends and thinking about the future experiences of engaging interactions.
So, who are you?
• have 5+ years of experience in a Product Design role or equivalent
• have found your home in the concept of the product company cross-functional team, and are well versed in the dynamics of such a team and organisation
• have documentation experience from working and shaping design systems at scale
• have proven seniority around the design craft and ways of working
• are an engaged and proactive contributor to the design craft
• have experience from deep partnership with Product and Engineering peers
• naturally use insights throughout the design process - to understand, ideate and validate
• proactively communicate with stakeholders and team members, through verbal communication as well as presentations
• are humbled by the diversity of other people, whether it's regarding background, experience, perspective or personality
Not required:
You don't have to know Swedish (daily work is carried out in English and the Mentimeter team currently boasts over 40+ different nationalities!)
