As a result of constant growth, the Onshore Wind Procurement team is looking to recruit a skilled Procurement professional to take on the position as: (Senior) Procurement Manager Grid - Wind Onshore. This is an opportunity to work for a market leader in onshore wind and a solid chance to make your mark.
As our (Senior) Procurement Manager you will become part of a dynamic team where your individual skills are valued. As we are growing our onshore projects pipeline, you will join us at a key step of our journey and integrate a team driving towards operational excellence. This involves working in an agile manner, handling whatever task or improvement initiative that comes your way, so a "can-do" mentality is key.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead, drive and execute tendering activities including, qualification, evaluation, negotiation and preparing contract award decisions for onshore grid packages, ensuring best value and compliance with the Vattenfall objectives and principles
Identify new and/or implement suitable procurement approaches to deliver Lowest Energy Cost, ensuring alignment with the defined BoP (Balance of Plants) category strategy
Steer the project teams through the procurement process
Challenge the project team in case of perceived over- or under specification of technical, commercial or legal requirements
Support negotiation of large claims and variation resolutions

Kravspecifikation

We are looking for someone with an ambitious attitude who learns from the past but who is especially open to transforming new developments or ideas into the 'tried and tested' of the future! You thrive on working team-based, you are able to work under tight deadlines in a competitive environment.
To achieve this, we believe you have the following qualifications:
A bachelor's or master's degree within a relevant field
Working knowledge with Electrical Power Systems, Substations, Cables, Transformers and in the sphere of regional and/or national grid distributors operating in Sweden (SE1-4) to enable new connections for wind onshore power parks
Solid experience with ABT/AB Forms of Contract. Knowledge of Public Procurement Act applicable in Sweden and good understanding of commercial/regulatory risks
• 5 years of relevant Procurement experience. You know what it's like to strategically look ahead and loop that back into today's procuring activities. Track-records in driving business with large spend suppliers in an international environment (supply-contracts)
A working knowledge of another wind projects' functional area (Balance of Plants ...) is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are fluent in English and Swedish (both written and spoken)

Location: The location of this position is in Sweden, at one of Vattenfall's current headquarters with land-based wind power development. Occasional business trips are required.
