Borealis is a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions. We are now looking for at least 3 Senior Process Engineers within Polyolefins Process Technology.
Role Purpose:
To develop process design packages together with engineering contractors for the polyolefins plant projects in Borealis and its joint ventures. Develop new technical solutions in Borstar process design. Secure, through own expertise that the latest process technology is applied in new investment projects and provide technical support to those projects during execution and start-up.
Contribution:
• Follows the strategy and gives input to the business plan
• Develops new solutions to enhance the performance of Borstar and other technologies
• Prepares Process Design Packages and participates in Basic and Detail engineering work in investment projects
Provides technical support for start-ups
• Acts as licensor representative in third party projects
• Identifies, initiates and leads investigations & studies for technology improvements
• Gives expert advice on Borstar and other polyolefin process technology matters
• Interface to large projects, engineering companies, Polyolefins Process R&D, Polyolefins Asset & Technical development
Skills:
• PhD or MSc from acknowledged university, or equivalent
• Mastery of English at business level
• Mastery of relevant IT and simulation tools
• Minimum 10 years experience in polyolefin process technology, engineering and/or production
• Preferably previous experience in Borstar technology

Other information:
Location is flexible, but preferably Sweden (Stenungsund) or Finland (Poorvo).
You will report to PO Process Technology Manager.
