Job description
As a Process Engineer at Yara you will work in the front-end phase of projects with focus on process design according to GTM/ Client specifications. You will be responsible for detailed process design development of scrubber system and equipment based on process design from R&D and feedback from installations experience.
As Process Engineer you will provide and be responsible for the Process Diagrams, flow charts and conversion charts, as well as pump and pipe calculations. You will also develop technical documentation for production, testing and purchasing but does not own budgetary responsibility. You will report to the Lead Engineer. The job also includes some amount of travelling per year estimated 20-40 days.
Qualifications
• Preferred education is a Master Of Science in chemical engineering or equal academic education.
• A minimum of 5 years? experience from process engineering.
• Practical and theoretical understanding of marine process design challenges.
• Experience from process pump/pipe calculation.
• Excellent English skills, oral and written.
• Autodesk, Auto Cad PID 2D / Plant 3D, Vault.
• Team leader skills, able to estimate design lead-time, plan and lead design team.
