We at the Legal team, drive the group's privacy and compliance agenda. We actively work with stakeholders in the group to structure processes and policies to ensure compliance with applicable data privacy and other relevant legislation.
As a Senior Privacy Counsel, you will be part of our international legal team where you'll work closely with our product teams to ensure and develop data security, data privacy and data protection in all aspects of our products. You will also handle corporate law and contracts within the company.
You will be reporting directly to the Group Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.
What do we expect from you
Strong academic credentials and a law degree from a top law school or university within EU
Specialized and hold a minimum of 8 years of experience working with data privacy
Strong knowledge and skills in data protection and privacy laws both in Europe and internationally and also in commercial law with an emphasis on IT-related matters
Extensive background from GDPR or similar legislation
Experience working with data privacy in a law firm or a tech company
Experience working in various jurisdictions
A solution-oriented and proactive approach, excellent communication and organizational skills
Fluent in English, written and orally
What will you work on
Assisting the organization with product and contract related questions
You will be a key person in driving the group's privacy and compliance agenda
Building a global privacy office
You will work actively with stakeholders in the group to structure processes and policies to ensure compliance with applicable data privacy and other relevant legislation.
You will be proactive and be an integral part of the business.
It would be great if you also have
Experience from emerging markets and policy framework
An interest in tech or experience from working in a tech company
