We are now looking for a Senior Press Die Designer within Advanced ME
Description
Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Press and Bodyshop group, is responsible for, in cooperation with our other ME departments, to analyze and secure the manufacturability of new components and assembly process. The ME department is a bigger unit, inside the Manufacturing organization.
The role as Senior Press Die designer;
• Feasibility investigation of new components regarding manufacturability including feed-back to product design, to secure parts are feasible in NEVS press-shops,
• Process planning of components (investigation of necessary number of operations/part),
• Investigate changes/impact of dies already at NEVS: - Feasibility investigations i.e. is the proposed change possible with regard to current tooldesign.
• Impact and cost analyze.
• Input to tool workshop for capacity planning.
• Tooldesign of decided product and process changes including update of documentation,
• Run formability tests with finite analyze tools and interpret results and define/propose solutions,
• Develop and improve die specific standards and procedures,
• Act as coach and mentor in the group.
We are looking for someone who has;
• Master of Science or equivalent experience,
• Background within Die Engineering, min. 5 years,
• Has experience from automotive industry, min. 5 years,
• Experience in Cad modelling/Drawings (Experience with NX & Teamcenter, is a merit),
• Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish/English, both verbally and written form,
• Ability to travel,
• Driver license B.
