We are now looking for a structured and accurate colleague to fill the position as Senior Portfolio Administrator. The Portfolio Administration department, today consisting of 7 team members, administrates East Capital's public equity funds as well as alternative investment funds and institutional mandates.  As a member of the Portfolio Administration team you are managing the full post-trade lifecycle of orders from the traders' desk to final settlements, reconciliations and payments as well as handling corporate actions and control of daily/monthly NAV calculations.

We can offer you an exciting and challenging position in an international and dynamic work environment. You will be based at our head quarter in Stockholm.  The position is permanent (sw. tillsvidareanställning).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your main tasks will include:

• Administration related to equity trades, money flows, corporate actions, proxy voting and valuation of mutual fund products
• Communicating with custodians, brokers and traders
• Controlling of daily/monthly NAV calculations
• Support of other team members in daily/monthly NAV calculations and in ensuring timely settlements of open transactions

Other tasks you will be involved in include:

• Projects to improve operational efficiency
• Securities lending

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a person with the following qualifications:

• High school degree as minimum
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience where a broad portfolio back office experience is a requirement
• Product knowledge: Equity/Fixed Income/Derivative
• Advanced knowledge in Excel (VBA programing skills is highly favorable)
• General understanding of basic accounting principles
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written

You are also good at transferring your skills and knowledge to others. You have a strong interest in financial markets, especially in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe and China.
