We have an exciting change journey ahead of us at Volvo Group Trucks Technology - Powertrain Engineering (PE), when creating the future powertrains for our customers as well as the future working place for our employees.
For managing one of our product stream D16 and connected drivelines, we are now looking for Senior Project Managers Engineering (PME)!
Who are we?
Complete Powertrain is a vital part of Powertrain Engineering and the section has the overall responsibility for the system integration of all components and systems, which together build a Complete Powertrain delivery. This includes the responsibility for features- and quality-fulfillment of the complete powertrain.
We now stand in front of significant challenges - one of the bigger ones being to reduce transport emitted CO2 emissions - and we are adapting to take this on by simplifying and empowering our organization and way of working. As an integrated part of this, we have high expectations to reduce development lead-time and cost, as well as to drive innovation and employee engagement. This through our leaders, leading technology and people.
What are your new challenges and responsibilities?
As Senior PME you are leading your product team in the right direction. You are responsible for prioritize, drive and follow up most of the activities to secure customer success, and a profitable product line. To achieve this is it crucial to build efficient network with all stakeholders, e.g. brands and PPL.

Master of Science or equivalent
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good understanding of Powertrain systems
Proficient skills in team building
Several years of experience from the automotive industry
Fluent English, both written and spoken
